  1. Set the grind duration based on the number of cups of coffee you plan to make. Turn the round knob to adjust the grind time. 10 Cups of Coffee (full pot): Set the grinder to 27. 8 Cups of Coffee: Set the grinder to 24.

    • Press the round knob in to start the grind.

    • After the coffee finishes grinding allow it to rest for 1 minute.

    • This allows the static electricity to disapate and the ground coffee will no longer stick to the plastic.

  2. Remove the coffee container and pour the coffee grounds into the filter. Note: Coffee filters can be found in the cabinet directly above the espresso maker.

  3. Insert the filter basket above the water pitcher. The basket slides in from left to right. Place the lid over the filter basket. Note: This is an optional step. You may want to leave the lid off and enjoy the sights and smells of fresh water mixing with freshly ground coffee.

    • Fill the water reservoir to the desired number of cups you wish to make.

    • Water from the refrigerator water dispenser is filtered and produces a better cup of coffee than tap water.

  4. Choose either the Half-Pot or Full-Pot setting. The warmer plate is set 10 degrees cooler for the half-pot setting. This prevents the warmer plate from "cooking" your coffee when it's not a full pot. Turn on the coffee pot.
